Paranoiac (1963) - Must See Hammer Movie

Never even heard of this brilliant Hammer release until this evening starring a young Oliver Reed, along with superb performances by the entire cast. I guess it was a rival to Hitchcock's Psycho at the time, but I liked this film even more. The plot twists and turns, and for 1963 it touches on some daring themes. There are two scenes which stood out for me; the choir boy with the creepy mask, and a truly stunning and clever vignette with Oliver Reed's twisted stare into a pond with the camera under the surface. The whole film keeps you watching and guessing to the end with Oliver Reed delivering a tour de force bit of acting.
